Functionality includes:
- Automatic syncing of order invoices to QuickBooks
- Automatic syncing of inventory from QuickBooks (optional)
- Automatic syncing of credit card payments to QuickBooks
- Automatic syncing of payments reconciled in QuickBooks
- Automatic syncing of payout fees to QuickBooks.
Integrating with QuickBooks is quick and easy!
Connect To QuickBooks
Simply click on your company name in the top right then select Settings > Integrations > QuickBooks. You will be taken to QuickBooks where you can login and grant access to Supply'd. After returning to Supply'd a screen should appear with the following fields:
Sync Existing Orders | This field will only appear if you have received orders in Supply'd before integrating with QuickBooks. Defines whether or not to sync orders that already existing in Supply'd. You should select "No" if you have manually entered the orders into QuickBooks. |
Invoice Prefix | Defines a prefix to prepend to the invoice number when importing to QuickBooks. This is useful to prevent duplicate invoice numbers in QuickBooks. |
Sales of Products Account [required] | Defines the account where sales of products will be accounted to. Account must be a "Sales of Products" account type. |
Shipping Account [required] | Defines the account where shipping will be accounted to. Account must be a "Sales of Products" account type. |
Income Tax Code [required] | The tax code applicable to sales on Supply'd. In most cases if you are set-up for GST it would simply be "GST". |
Fees Account [required] | Defines the account where Supply'd fees will be accounted to. Account must be a "Expense" account type. |
Payout Account [required] | Defines the bank account that is receiving payout from Supply'd. This should match the account you set-up in Stripe Express. |
Sync Inventory [required] | Whether or not your would like to keep inventory in sync between QuickBooks & Supply'd. For this to work your products must be set-up as inventory items in QuickBooks with a SKU allocated to it. Supply'd would require the same SKU on the product as well as "Manage Inventory" on the product set to "Yes". See How to add/update products. |
Click Save to apply your changes then you're done.
Disconnecting from QuickBooks
If you like to disconnect from QuickBooks you can do so by clicking on your company name in the top right then select Settings > Integrations > QuickBooks. An overlay will appear, click "Disconnect" then confirm this is what you would like to do. You can reconnect at any time using the instructions above.
