Sending orders to Shippit

Once you've connected to Shippit you will need to update your shipping rules to set which rules send orders to Shippit. To manage this click on your company name in the top right then select Settings > Shipping, select a zone, then click "Edit" on a rule.

Send To Shippit The options in this drop down let you define whether or not orders using this shipping rule are sent to Shippit or not, and if they are what is the default shipping type to send as. If you don't want orders using this rule sent to Shippit simply choose "Don't Send". Otherwise choose the default shipping type you would like these orders sent to Shippit as.

Live Quoting

Shippit can provide live quotes within Supply'd based on parcel dimensions and weight (See section on managing products to set carton weights and dimensions). To use live quoting you will first need to create a rule in a shipping zone. For instructions on how to create a shipping zone and rule click here.

To enable live quoting select "Shippit Quote" on the Pricing Type field when creating a rule and follow the guidance below.

Shipping Type [required] Defines the type of shipping quote to get from Shippit. Options are "Standard", "Express" and "Priority". You can only select one per rule. If you would like to provide a "Standard" shipping option and an "Express" you would create 2 separate rules to do so.
Shippit Margin $ Defines a dollar margin you would like to charge in addition to the quoted price from Shippit. For example if you want to cover costs for boxes used for packaging and handling time for an additional $2, set the value as "$2.00". If Shippit was to quote $10, we would add the additional $2 making the charge for this option $12.
Shippit Margin % Defines a percentage margin you would like to charge in addition to the quoted price from Shippit. The percentage is based on the price quoted from Shippit. For example, if you set the value as "5" (5%), if Shippit was to quote $20, we would add the additional 5% ($1.00) making the charge for this option $21.

Click save to apply your changes.
