Functionality includes:

  • Import products from Square for easy ordering from all of your suppliers
  • Get up to date inventory counts from Square when ordering products*
  • Enable powerful future sales projections based on your Square sales history to make ordering more accurate*
  • Automatically sync product information and inbound inventory with scan receive*.

* Advanced functionality available on the Ignite and Pro plans only. 

 

Connect To Square

Simply click on your company name in the top right then select Settings > Integrations > Square. You will be taken to Square where you can login and grant access to Supply'd. After returning to Supply'd a screen should appear with the following fields:

 

Sync Inventory
Whether or not to sync inventory changes from Square and add stock to Square when received.

Default Location (Required)
The default location where received stock will be added. If you run multiple locations you can match this to each location in your Location Settings.

Create Catalog Items
Whether or not to create new products in Square when a product that doesn't exist in Square is received.

Item Name Format (Required)
The format of the product name to create products in Square. Uses handlebars which will be replaced with the associated data from the product in Supply'd. Options are:


  • {brand} - Brand Name
  • {name} - Product Name
  • {size_unit} - Size Units
  • {size_measure_short} - The Size Measure (Short), e.g. kg

Tax Type (Required)
The default tax type to use when adding new products to Square. Products that do not match this tax type will need to be modified in Square after being added. 

Click Save to apply your changes then you're done. 

 

Disconnecting from Square

If you like to disconnect from Square you can do so by clicking on your company name in the top right then select Settings > Integrations > SquareAn overlay will appear, click "Disconnect" then confirm this is what you would like to do. You can reconnect at any time using the instructions above.
